Chester F. Zielinski

Chester F. Zielinski, 89, of Springfield, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 14, 2024. Son of the late Adolph and Marie Zielinski, he was born in Springfield on January 26, 1935. Educated in local schools, Chester proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army. A master electrician, he worked for Collins Electric for many years. Chester loved to spend his free time fishing on the Scantic River.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Carol (Meade) Zielinski and two sons Joseph and Dan allen Zielinski. He also leaves 3 beloved grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, as well as his brother Edward Zielinski and his sister Mary-Ann Bulewich. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Alexander Zielinski.

All services are private, with burial at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
